Melissa Hardman

Business Marketing/Management Instructor
AA116
Hobble Academic Building

Melissa graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a BA in Athletic Training and minors in Health and Psychology. She then went on to complete an MBA with an emphasis in Sports Management from Kansas Wesleyan University. Something she enjoys about teaching at SCCC is interacting with the students and helping them achieve their goals. A fun fact about Melissa is that she enjoys sports and has participated in one sport or another since she was 3 years old.

Hiran Gunasekara

Economics Instructor
AA119
Hobble Academic Building

Hiran has an MA in Economics from UT San Antonio. What he enjoys most about teaching at SCCC is the class size and the interaction with students. When it comes to instructor trivia, he stated there is so much that he cannot narrow it down to just one fun fact. Students in Hiran’s class should know that he is a fun instructor if you do your work, not fun if you don’t but trying is the most important thing.
