Personal Training

Overview

The Personal Training program at SCCC is designed to prepare students for careers in the growing fitness and wellness industry. Students gain a solid foundation in exercise science, anatomy, nutrition, and client assessment while developing the communication and motivational skills needed to help individuals achieve their health goals. With access to excellent facilities such as a wellness center, weight room, swimming pool, multipurpose gymnasium, and outdoor sports areas, students receive both classroom instruction and hands-on training in real-world fitness settings.

A degree in personal training from SCCC prepares students to pursue national certification, work in fitness centers or wellness programs, or build a foundation for advanced studies in exercise science, kinesiology, or health promotion.
