Sports Management

Overview

The Sports Management program at SCCC is designed to give students a solid foundation in the principles of managing athletic programs, teams, and facilities. Students explore topics such as event planning, sports marketing, budgeting, and leadership within the sports industry. Through a blend of classroom learning and hands-on experience, including opportunities to work with intercollegiate athletics and campus events, students gain valuable insight into the business and organizational side of sports.

Seward County Community College offers a two-year Associate in Science Degree in Sports Management, preparing students for transfer to a four-year institution or entry-level careers in areas such as athletic administration, coaching, and recreation management.
