Computer Information Systems

Ed Hall

Ed graduated from the Pueblo College of Business and Technology with an Associate Degree of Occupational Studies in Computer Studies-Applied. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University, followed by a Master of Science in Management Concentration in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University.

Something Ed enjoys about teaching at SCCC is watching students’ faces when they get the “aha” moment in understanding what and why they are learning. A fun fact about Mr. Hall is he enjoys volunteering at the preschool and teaching children’s church to first through third graders. Students in Mr. Hall’s classes are expected, by Mr. Hall, to take responsibility for their own actions in and out of the classroom.

Deedee Flax

Deedee has an Associate of Science from Dodge City Community College, a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Computer Business from St. Mary’s of the Plains, and a Master of Liberal Arts with a Major in Computer Information Systems from Fort Hays State University.

When asked what she enjoys most about teaching at SCCC she responded with “Computers and Computer Programming are my passions.  Being able to share the knowledge and seeing this passion in my students is the greatest part about teaching.  When I see the “Ah’hah” moments in my classes and emails from students after graduation, thanking me for making a difference in their lives, is honestly what teaching is all about for me!   “
