Livestock Judging – Seward County Community College offers opportunities for students to participate in activities that will add to their college experience. SCCC offers a nationally competitive livestock-judging program, in which a team represents the college in contests throughout the United States. This activity builds decision–making, communication, and reasoning skills that are in high demand by today’s employers. Scholarships are available for members of the Livestock Judging Team.

Crops Judging– SCCC offers student participation in Crops Judging at SCCC. The contests are nationally competitive. Scholarships are available to participating on these judging teams. Crops Judging help to give the student multiple desirable job skill sets within the Agriculture industry. Crops Judging also prepares the students for several job opportunities. The mastery of this subject material also helps the student prepare to become a Certified Crop Advisor.    

Block and Bridle –A national organization, sponsors a spring pig sale, district FFA contests, cookouts, and other activities.  

Collegiate Farm Bureau – provides many leadership opportunities for agriculture students. Also Collegiate Farm Bureau gives students a chance to meet state and national leaders in agriculture.
