Diesel Technology

Learn mechanical skills to service and repair diesel equipment. Featuring modern and late-model engines, students graduate as qualified, trained technicians capable of working on over-the-road trucks, heavy-duty industrial equipment, farm machinery, and diesel pick-ups.  Students are required to have a basic set of tools upon entering the program, tool suppliers and a tool fair will be available to assist students in their selection process.

Students have the possibility of participating in internships. Some of the places students have the possibility of interning are John Deere and Pholly Caterpillar. Pholly Cat offers students the opportunity to enter into their program after SCCC it is a year and a half program where students will be paid and then have the opportunity to be placed in one of their 9 stores.
