The sports medicine program at SCCC is designed to give students a solid foundation in proper prevention, care, and rehabilitation techniques of various athletic injuries or conditions. Graduates are provided with foundational skills practice and hands-on experience including working with the intercollegiate sports teams. With multiple facilities including a swimming pool, wellness center, weight room, multipurpose gymnasium, tennis courts, softball field, baseball diamond, computer labs, and ropes course with rock climbing wall, students are able to learn and participate in a number of different activities. 

Seward County Community College offers a two-year Associate in Science Degree program, which emphasizes the number one concern of any athletic training program: the health and welfare of the athlete. This program is designed to give students a solid foundation in proper prevention, care, and rehabilitation techniques of various athletic injuries or conditions.
