Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

There is no limit to the number of books or magazines that a patron can check out.  

Books and magazines check out for 3 weeks.

These items from the SCCC Library will automatically renew up to two times if there are no holds on the items. 

Patrons are limited to four DVDs at a time. DVDs check out for 2 weeks.

DVDs will automatically renew once if there isn’t a hold on the item. 

Everyone is welcome to use the Seward County Community Library.  Community members can check out items and use the computers or just come and study at the SCCC Library.  

From the campus network or while using SCCC wifi, you will not need a password to access the databases.  From home, you will need a password for some databases.  

Contact your instructor or the SCCC Library to get the passwords.  

If you need more help, contact the library via email or telephone or stop by the front desk. 

SCCC Students can print for free from the library computer lab.  

The testing center and peer tutoring is also located in the library.
