How to Apply

You must be admitted to SCCC and complete the online 2024-25 General Scholarship Application.

Students will need your SCCC log in information to access the application.

This grant will pay for the current base Seward County tuition rate ($72/hour) for 12-18 credit hours in a Fall or Spring semester.

Funding is limited!


Seward County Part-Time Tuition Grant

Students who are enrolled in less than 12 credit hours may qualify for a part-time tuition grant.

To qualify for a part-time Seward County Tuition Grant, the student must enroll in at least 6 credit hours and pass at least 6 credit hours per semester, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, be a legal resident of Seward County, KS, and have a high school diploma or GED certificate.

Federal PELL Grant

General Information

The Federal Pell Grant is a need-based grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education for undergraduate degree-seeking students who have not earned a bachelors or professional degree.

Pell Grant funds may not be received at more than one institution at a time.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

General Information

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federal grant administered by Seward County Community College.

This grant is for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need; helps to supplement the Pell Grant.  Students must be degree-seeking and full Pell eligible for this award.
