Mass Communications is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information through various mediums such as print, television, radio, and digital media. SCCC students working toward their degree in journalism are given the opportunity for classroom learning as well as hands-on experience in numerous career fields. The Mass Communications program at SCCC offers the opportunity for students to participate in The Crusader, an award winning, student produced newspaper.
