Through our instructors, many of whom hold doctorate-level credentials, students gain access to rich and varied life and professional experiences. Get Commercial Drivers License instruction from a man who started out delivering milk and eggs from rural Pennsylvania to New York City. As a Seward County Saint, you can expect more than just going to class – clubs represent various occupational interests from marketing to science. The Student Government Association and Student Life Club sponsor a multitude of activities from noontime entertainment, intramural activities, leadership seminars, festivals and networking experiences. Student Living Center! Awesome is the word used to describe the new Student Living Center at SCCC; you’ve got to see it to believe it! Opened in August, 2002, the state-of-the-art facility offers students a living environment that completes the “SCCC Experience.” The facility includes spacious rooms that are individually climate- controlled; oak furniture in each room including a study desk that will accommodate a computer; internet access, cable TV and local phone service in each room; a computer lab; a game room; quiet study area; TV Lounge; coin-operated laundries; vending machines and ice machines; an elevator; outdoor basketball court; ample parking; close walking distance to Student Union, cafeteria, and classes; security cameras both inside and outside. Schedule a tour and we think that you too will say, “Awesome.” The best way to find out about SCCC is to visit our campus. Once you’re here, you can talk with Admissions Staff and ask questions that relate to your interests, tour the campus and view the facilities, hang out in the Internet Café, and talk with faculty. SCCC is known for responding to the needs of its students; we can assist with a customized educational program through day, evening and weekend classes, internet and interactive television.
