Southwest Kansas
Regional Science & Engineering Fair
The Southwest Kansas Regional Science & Engineering Fair exists to create opportunities for students of all ages to present their scientific explorations to the public. Students from surrounding counties attend annually to compete for a chance to attend the Kansas Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF). The Regional Science Fair is hosted on the SCCC campus and directed by the SCCC Math & Science division.
Student Application
Qualifying students are required to submit an official application to compete in the Regional Science & Engineering Fair. The application consists of contact information for the student, parents/guardians, and a science educator, as well as information about the student’s project, such as its category, abstract, and material usage. Please download and fill out the correct application for your student, then email or return it to the Math & Science Division at SCCC.
Official Rules
Rules for the Regional Science & Engineering Fair outline the student divisions, project categories, and guidelines for each student project. Please note that each division abides by specific rules in addition to the general RSEF rules.
