Job Description:

The Softball Student Worker plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the softball program and assisting with broader athletic department needs. This student position helps maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of athletic facilities and equipment, creating a positive environment for student-athletes, coaches, and fans.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with field preparation prior to practices, including trash pickup, cleaning bathrooms, and organizing the press box.
• Vacuuming the locker room, cleaning mirrors, and assisting with laundry before and after practices/games.
• After games, starting laundry, securing the facility, locking locker rooms, and checking the press box.
• Removing food and trash from locker rooms to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Additional Athletic Department Duties May Include:

• Assisting with setup and cleanup for other sporting events and athletic functions.
• Delivering equipment and supplies to various athletic teams as needed.
• Helping manage athletic storage areas, keeping them clean and organized.
• Supporting administrative tasks such as hanging posters, running errands on campus, or assisting with team mailings.
• Providing support with concession stand setup and restocking during events.
• Helping with basic data entry, uniform inventory, or other clerical tasks as assigned.

Dress Code:

Individuals must be dressed to perform the above tasks and open-toed shoes (like sandals) are not allowed.
