Job Description

Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure aquatic environment by actively monitoring swimmers, enforcing facility rules, and responding quickly to emergencies. This role requires constant vigilance, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to perform water rescues, administer first aid, and provide CPR/AED when necessary. Lifeguards also assist with daily operations, including facility upkeep, patron assistance, and promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Dress Code

Lifeguards should dress in clothes that will not restrict or expose body parts during a drowning rescue. Shoes should be easily removable, as shoes are not allowed while actively lifeguarding. Swimming suits are allowed but must be approved by supervisors. Whistle, and rescue pack must be worn while lifeguarding. All necessary rescue equipment, and shirts labeled LIFEGUARD will be issued at the time of hire.
