Mission: a single version of the truth

The Office of Research & Assessment (ORA) exists to track and monitor the progress of SCCC in regard to strategic, academic, and institutional goals.

Purpose

  1. To provide accurate and official information.
  2. To be a resource in assessment of student learning, planning, and action research.
  3. To develop systems that promote organizational learning and effectiveness.

Guiding Principles

  1. Actively support initiatives and collaborate with internal partners.
  2. Continually review and upgrade skills, knowledge, and processes.
  3. Use and advocate for appropriate technology and methods that enhance the services we provide.
