Accuplacer
The Accuplacer is the exam used at Seward County Community College to place you in the correct classes. If you are a recent high school graduate or if you have taken the ACT test or graduated from high school recently, you may not need the Accuplacer. Your SCCC advisor will tell you if you need an Accuplacer.
The Accuplacer has three parts:
- Reading
- Writing (commonly referred to as “English”)
- Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (commonly referred to as “Math”)
The reading Accuplacer is also required to enter in the CNA or CMA classes.
The ESL Accuplacer is required for some CDL candidates and consists of the following three parts:
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
